INITIAL SEAL (FIRST 3 HOURS)

• Tegaderm (Second Skin) applied — leave on for 3 hours

• Waterproof, but do not soak or submerge

• Remove gently after time is complete

CLEANING PROTOCOL (FIRST 7 DAYS)

• Wash hands before contact

• Use unscented soap only

• Clean gently with lukewarm water

• Pat dry — do not rub

INK PRESERVATION (MOISTURE CONTROL)

Apply a light layer only of:

• S&D Aftercare (preferred)

• or Aquaphor

⚠️ Overuse can clog pores, cause irritation, and dull the ink

DAY 3 TRANSITION

Switch to:

• Mild, scent-free, non-petroleum lotion
  (example: Jergens)

→ Allows skin to breathe and heal properly

NORMAL HEALING PROCESS

• Tattoo will itch → pat, don’t scratch

• Tattoo will peel → completely normal

• Do NOT pick or peel

STRICTLY AVOID

• Submerging in water for 3 weeks
  (no baths, pools, hot tubs)

• Direct sun exposure

• Heavy product buildup
